MARIA CONTI (nee De MARIA) Suddenly on February 7, 2014 at Humber River Regional - Finch Site surrounded by her family. Maria was called home to be with our Lord, in her 85th year. Survived by her sons Fernando, Steve (Shiela) and Anthony (Ana), granddaughters Marilyn, Angelina and Jacqueline and grandson Minor (Addie). Predeceased by her husband Dr. Jack G. Conti (1999). Friends may call on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at R.S. Kane Chapel (6150 Yonge Street). Cremation to follow. To honour her wishes, she will be laid to rest in her home town in Italy. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Sick Kids Hospital. Condolences www.rskane.ca

Dear Fernando, Steven and Anthony, our deepest sympathies to you and your family from the Vincents. Growing up in Verner, your mom had a special place in our life and our hearts and espcially with my mom. They were great friends and had a lasting bond. Maria will always stay in our thoughts. Dear Steve and Sheila. I did not have the privilege of meeting your Mom I have heard Cathy singing her praises. She just loved her. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. Steve and Sheila, how sad we were to hear the news. Maria was a strong and brilliant lady who loved life and her children dearly. We are so happy that we were able to spend time with her at Christmas. Our memories of her will always be fond and will bring a smile to our faces. Shahab & Cathy
