MARIANO ARAUJO MOTA Passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 in his 75th year, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Judy. Cherished father of Janis (Mike). Loving Grandfather of Danielle (Chaveco) and Michael. Proud great-grandfather of Gabriella and Adara. Devoted Brother of Maria (Manuel), Maria (Virgilio), Victor (Isabel) and Amancio (Rose). Predeceased by Manuel (Maria), Joe (Aida) and Antonio (Eduarda). Predeceased by his parents Manuel and Maria Mota. Mariano will be resting in the chapel of LEE FUNERAL HOME LTD. (258 Queen Street South, Streetsville, Mississauga, ON) on Wednesday, May 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (5440 Durie Road, Streetsville, ON), on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glen Oaks Cemetery, Oakville, ON. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

I will always remember Mariano as the friendly backyard neighbour who helped take care of our apple trees and gave us an apricot tree. May he rest in peace.
