GREENE, MARIE THERESE 1934 - 2022 Peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital on January 14, 2022 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Hubert (2016), married for over 53 glorious years! Already missed by her children: Bill (Leslie), Paul (Kelly) and Sharon (Brian); her 6 grandchildren: Aidan, Evan, Shaun, Connor, Emily and Trent; her sister-in-law Ray and her nephew Greg. Marie was born in North Bay, Ontario. Adored by her late parents William and Florence Gilchrist. She lived most of her life in the Beaches (Toronto) and East York. She attended Kimberley Public School and Malvern Collegiate, where she made childhood friends that lasted a lifetime. She worked for Massey Ferguson until her first son was born, then her priority was her family. She enjoyed summers on Lake of Bays at the family cottage. Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf was their second home for close to 40 years, where so many close friendships were formed. Marie and Hubert enjoyed many social gatherings and countless group trips around the world with their friends from B.R.C.D. Thank you for the compassion shown from the Palliative Care Team at Michael Garron Hospital . In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf would be appreciated.
