Marija KONCAN Obituary
Died peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in her 85th year. Beloved wife to Valentin (Tine) and cherished mother to Val (Lucy), Maria (Mojca) Dimperio (Mario), Klaudia Wickham (Matt) and Tom (Catherine). Treasured grandmother to Alexander (deceased), Ivana, Madeline, Nathaniel, David, Steven, Diana, Gregory, Kevin, Eric and Monika. Predeceased by her brothers Janez, Silvo (Vesti), Francelj and Stane and her sisters Francka, Anica and Pavla. Dear sister to Marjanca and Ivanka in Slovenia. Devoted aunt to all her nephews and nieces in Slovenia. Friends will be received at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705), on Monday, March 28th from 2 to 4 (group prayers at 3 p.m.) and 6 to 9 p.m. and at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church on Tuesday, March 29th from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 739 Brown's Line. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dom Lipa - Slovenian Senior Citizen Centre would be appreciated.
