SHAW, MARION ANNE Passed away peacefully, at Bradford Valley Care Community, Bradford, Ontario, on September 14, 2024, in her 100th year. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Everett and Mabel (Armstrong) Shaw; and her siblings, Robert (Ruth) Shaw, Dorothy (Bill) Craig, Mabel (Clure) Cation, Marjorie (Jack) Wilson, Bruce (Betty) Shaw, Edith Shaw, Margaret (Bernard) Cooper and John Shaw. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Anne Shaw. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Marion was born November 29, 1924, at home on the Shaw Family Farm in Albion Township, County of Peel, near Tullamore. She loved growing up on the family farm with all of her brothers and sisters. Marion thoroughly enjoyed music and was a very talented singer, winning many awards at the Brampton Music Festival and performing in musical theatre shows. Marion served as a guest soloist at Grace United Church and St. Paul's United Church in Brampton. Marion worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Dales Pharmacy, Brampton. She truly loved her family and all of her nieces and nephews and their children. Marion was a member of the Salem United Church and the Salem U.C.W. Visitation will be taking place at Scott Funeral Home – Brampton Chapel (289 Main Street North, Brampton, ON L6X 1N5) on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at Scott Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m., with a burial to follow.
