MARK KARI Obituary
MARK KARI 1967 - 2017 Mark passed away peacefully at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on Monday, March 27, 2017. During the last few years, he bravely lived his life as he battled ALS. He was especially thankful for the love and support he received from the many caregivers, nurses, volunteers, friends and family members as he faced his ordeal. Mark's main interests were literature, fine arts, music, theatre, the performing arts, sports, baking and travel. He is survived by his mother Elaine, father Koji and brother Ryan. Friends may call The Highland Funeral Home (3280 Sheppard Avenue East), 416-773-0933, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon following the visitation. Our heartfelt sympathies to each of you on the recent passing of your son/brother. Although we never had the opportunity to meet him, he must have been an amazing and courageous person to face the challenges of ALS. May he rest in peace.
