MARVIN ZALMAN

ZALMAN, MARVIN With sadness, we announce the passing of Marvin Zalman on February 8, 2023. Marvin will be deeply missed by his children, Stacey Zalman-Gallippi (husband, Valerio; and children, Sebastian, Isabella and Tessa) of Maple, Ontario, and Michael Zalman (daughter, Hannah May) of Vancouver, BC; by his sister, Sheila Wolk (husband, Bernie; and their children, Lewis, Janis, Lisa and families) of Chomedey, Quebec; and Nancy Zalman of Richmond Hill, Ontario, to whom he was married. Marvin was born in Montreal on January 25, 1937, to Bella and Moses Zalman. He graduated from Boston University and Western University MBA. Marvin enjoyed a long career with the Canadian Federal Government, where he worked until he retired. He was an accomplished artist, and had a great love of music and books for all his life. Service at Benjamin's, 2401 Steeles Avenue W., Toronto, February 12, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
