Mary Teeter Allison

ALLISON, Mary Teeter - January 30, 2010 Mary Teeter (McCleary) Allison died of complications associated with a broken heart. Mary was born February 27, 1922 to Ev and Mac McCleary, who were always her beacon. She married her 'Dearest' Myles Roswell Allison, her soulmate. Mary is survived by her loving sister Joan Heiberg, her sister Margaret Morgan and many nieces and nephews. Mary never had children of her own, yet was the best mother and grandmother one could have. She was a dear friend to her lifelong pals. Mary touched many through the course of her life, from her family and friends to her pupils at Malvern Collegiate; in England, Ottawa and Barrie. Mary would like all remembrances to be in the form of donations to the Cancer Society, Diabetes Association, CNIB or St. Thomas Church (Shanty Bay). There will be no funeral service. A life celebration by her invitation, will take place for those whom Mary felt stood steadfast beside her.
