MARY KOPACSI Obituary
KOPACSI, MARY MAGDOLNA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Magda Kopacsi. She died peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 92. Predeceased by husband of 58 years, George (2017). Loving mother to Eva (John) and Cathy (Thomas); and proud grandmother to Andrew, Mark, Amanda, and Paul. Born in Hungary, she immigrated to Canada in 1956. She enjoyed gardening, travelling and doing all kinds of crafts and puzzles. She loved cooking and baking for her family, and especially loved her grandchildren. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 18th at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph, located inside Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd. E., Thornhill. An interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at catholic-cemeteries.ca
