SAVILLE, MARY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary (Kachmar) Saville, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. She was just over 101 years young. Mary was the most remarkable woman in the truest sense of the word. She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Jimmy Saville. Mary leaves behind three children, daughter, Marlene (Rae) and her husband Jim, daughter, Nancy (Chester), and son, Jamie. Mary had five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mary's sister, Sonia (Kachmar) Rankin will dearly miss her. Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Dominion Stores for 26 years. She was active in the OAIA in Markham and volunteered for 30 years at Centenary Hospital. Mary was a positive person that always had a smile on her face. She worked hard all of her life, put the welfare of others before hers and was an angel behind the scene for so many. Visitation will take place at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, Ontario L3R 5G1), on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Service to take place at 11:30 a.m., with a Reception to follow also at Chapel Ridge.
