DENOMME, MAUREEN It is with sadness, that we announce the sudden passing, on June 6, 2022, of Maureen Denomme (nee Mary Cecilia Costello, Brudnell 1938). Survived by daughters, Genevieve Pierce and Stephanie Simpson; daughter-in-law, Cindy Denomme; and Leslie's partner, Bill Russell. Maureen graduated RN, 1959, at Ottawa University. She served at various hospitals throughout the province in her 50 year career. She will be forever remembered for her strength, her great sense of humour, and joy in a good laugh. Miss you forever. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated. Visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON 905-898-2100, Thursday, June 23, from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00. I was sorry to hear about Aunt Maureen's passing. We had been in touch the last couple of years as she filled me in on some family history, as I had with her about our particular family. Sadly, we hadn't quite finished our stories.
My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Dear Genny, Stephanie, Cindy, Bill & grandchildren of dear Aunt Maureen:
May her vibrant spirit, the songs in her heart and her love of life and all its gifts live on in all of you and may your memories bring comfort when you miss her. Such strength and grace in the face of challenges (an O'Grady/Costello trait we and our children are blessed to carry) and such "joie de vivre." I'm tempted to close with "may she rest in peace" but "I hope you continue to dance" may be more appropriate.
Love,
your cousin Heather (Aileen's daughter)
