TAPSCOTT, Maurice Wilton - Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2014 in his 91st year at The Village of Taunton Mills Retirement Residence in Whitby, Ontario. Predeceased by his loving wife Marydale (nee Houghton). Loving and devoted father of Mary-Lynn (Jim), Beverly and Beth. Proud and cherished grandfather of Erin (Jordan), Jaime-Lynn, Jaclyn, Tyler, Rebecca, Ryan and Makayla. Doting great-grandfather of twin baby girls Audrey and Olivia. Last surviving family member of parents Charles and Dorothy Tapscott, brothers Norman and Howard and sister Phyllis. Dear uncle of Adele and her family and to his other many nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will be held at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Road), Markham, on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
