When I was an elementary school student walking to regent heights with my two sisters (in the mid 90s) I used to walk by his house every day, he was always very kind and we'd always wave at him, while his German Sheppard used to joyfully follow us along the other side of the fence.

I often go on walks in the neighborhood and still am in awe of Max's creation - it is truly one of a kind. May he rest in peace. <3

Someone has made a "tribute" piece they are selling online of Max's home. If it's been authorized by family or otherwise I would be interested in purchasing it. I don't want to contribute money to something made in an illegal way by trespassing, or made without permission however I live nearby and love the house.

Max was an amazing man. He really was a "One of a Kind." All his neighbours enjoyed viewing his castle on Maybourne Avenue. We will miss his presence.
