IRBE, Meta —
On Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Scarborough General Hospital. Meta was born in Riga, Latvia on January 24, 1925. She will be fondly remembered by her beloved husband of 56 years, Gunarts and also by her friends.
All may visit at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. (south of Wellesley), to celebrate her life on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. with a service immediately following in the Coach House Chapel of the funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Very sad to hear of her passing. I worked with her at Benjamin Films during the summer when I was still in school. A hard worker, she was able to make it fun. Years later, I would occasionally see her at the Latvian Centre during brunch. She remembered me, and we always found a few minutes to chat.
