BARBETTA, Michael (Mike) Archangelo One day shy of Mike's 85th birthday, the world lost a legend. Mike grew up in Toronto, the youngest of 8 children born to Thomas (Gaetano) and Catherine. He had a passion for sports, playing football and baseball well into his golden years. He enjoyed a lengthy career at Air Canada, where he would meet his bride, Robin (née Kornack, deceased). They married in 1966 and reaped the benefits of working in the airline industry, travelling extensively, collecting memories and matchbooks. Mike had a passion for music and enjoyed spending hours compiling playlists for friends and family, from his extensive collection. Mike drew the respect of all who knew him. Not one to ask for help himself, he was always quick to offer a hand to others, often in understated, yet impactful, ways. Remembering him with love and affection are his daughters, Stacey, Leslie (Jim), Marisa, and Heather; his dear brother (and fellow cowboy), Sam; many nieces, nephews, colleagues, and a wonderful network of great friends. He was the proud Papa to his granddaughter and best buddy, Camille. A special thank you to cousin, Cathy Evans Barbetta. We'll greatly miss him.
