1963 - 2022

LANDON, MICHAEL ANDREW October 2, 1963 - July 11, 2022 We lost Michael in a tragic accident at the family cottage on Wollaston lake. He is survived by his daughters, Kaileigh and Jessica; his brothers, Neal and Russell (Donna); and his parents, Heather and Barry. Lovingly remembered by Lynn, Francis; and his nieces and nephews: Brendan, Aidan, Samantha, Nicole, Ashleigh and Michele. As a young boy he was a Boy Scout and held all the lifesaving awards including 'instructor'. He was a counselor at Camp Pine Crest and an excellent canoeist. He also sang the lead role in East York Collegiate's production of God Spell. Michael was employed for many years by the East York and Toronto District Board of Education. He will be missed by his colleagues and pupils. Michael was very personable and remained good friends with many of his school buddies and took part in various recreation activities, including baseball and serving a decade as captain of his dart team. He had a wide range of interests and could hold meaningful conversations on a number of subjects. But his favourite hobby was always fishing with a couple of friends. Michael's genuine kindness and enthusiasm will be missed by all those who had the distinct pleasure of meeting him. He was one in a million and will be greatly missed.
