Michael MANNA

MANNA, Michael Beloved father of Mark and Matthew Manna. Passed away peacefully on the morning of September 25, 2017. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Cristina and his sister, Rita. Michael was the loving brother to Anne-Marie, Nick and Tony. Michael was a loving and gentle soul who preached tolerance, kindness and love among his fellow man. Michael's generous spirit was demonstrated by his life of philanthropy and assisting those in need. As a loving and devoted father, his spirit lives on in his sons and the many lives that he has touched. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre. Our family sends it most heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Sunnybrook Hospital. Thank you for your support and care. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.), from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 29th. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. The Final Rite of Committal and entombment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill).
