The Irish and County Cork communities that Michael was such a big part of for so long have all lost a very special person in our lives.
Michael was a strong, intelligent, kind and loving man and he will be greatly missed not only by his immediate family but by all of us whose lives he touched as a close friend and as a fellow Irishman and a great Canadian.
Our sympathies and our prayers go out to Carol and to the entire extended O'Sullivan family on their sad loss and indeed on our shared loss.

May the angels in heaven be waiting for Michael and may he sit proudly at God's right hand.

Michael, you will be sorely missed by all but never forgotten.

Michael was a lovely man, who was proud of his County Cork heritage and a staunch member of the Cork Association. Sorry we cannot be at the funeral as we are out of the country.

All the old gang at the Cabbagetown Boxing Club will have fond memories of Michael. He was a strong supporter of the club and of course his world champion son Shawn. I personally recall the many trips that we were on together when Shawn was tarvelling the world and the walks we would have when we first arrived in whatever city we were visiting. He walked me into the ground and he was my senior by three decades. I will lift a glass of the creature to him in his memory. Regrettably we are out of the country and will not be able to attend services but our thoughts are with all. Love Peter/Jackie Wylie
