Had the privilege playing for and against Mike for the past 15 years. Truly a remarkable human being.
THE WORLD NEEDS MORE MIKE. We'll surely miss you Mike.

My daughter had Mr. Phillips in grade 6 at Elizabeth Simcoe School and he was the greatest teacher and most kind person. He was loved by all the students and parents. God Bless you and thanks for everything.

Mike was a great guy (a real Mensch).
I played with him on the Scarborough Reds on Sunday mornings, as well as in MORSL, along with his brother, David, and his 2 sons, Adam and Graeme. Also, I managed some tournament teams as a Player/Coach, where I had Mike pitch for me.
Mike will be truly and sorely missed!
With deepest sympathy,
David and Ira Fisher.

Besides being able to play 'ball' with Mike, I will miss our off season talks about the coming season's draft. He really loved to prepare for 'Draft Day' and it usually started right after the previous season ends. The quality of his teams showed how good he was at putting a competitive team on the field.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In loving memory of a great guy who was a pleasure to play ball with. He will be sadly missed on the field and off.
