Michael Zulauf Obituary

ZULAUF, Michael - 92, of Toronto, passed suddenly on July 8, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. Born July 27, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY, he immigrated to Canada in the 1920s. Preceded in death by his incredibly beloved wife Freda and his sweet angel, daughter Paula, Michael is survived by his two sons Mel and David, brothers Saul, Ben and Boris, sister Betty and 8 grandchildren. An avid sportsman, Michael was the President of the Young Men's Group at the Pride of Israel, in addition to being the Past Master in the Masonic Mosaic (Palestine) Lodge. His career spanned 52 years, working for one company in the fragrance and chemical industry. Michael illuminated the world around him and everyone he touched. We who knew him, were fortunate to share that joyous glow, albeit ever so briefly. A loving husband, father, caring grandfather and devoted friend, Michael will be deeply missed forever more. Services will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. W., Thornhill, Ontario on Tuesday, July 13th at 12:00 p.m.

I'm so very sorry...

God full of mercy who dwells on high
Grant perfect rest on the wings of Your Divine Presence.
In the lofty heights of the holy and pure who shine as the brightness of the heavens to the soul of Michael who has gone to his eternal rest as all his family and friends pray for the elevation of his soul.
His resting place shall be in the Garden of Eden.
Therefore, the Master of mercy will care for him under the protection of His wings for all time And bind his soul in the bond of everlasting life.
God is his inheritance and he will rest in peace and let us say Amen.

May your family be comforted in knowing how you touched the lives of everyone you came in contact with. You were my very sweet and very wise uncle and I shall miss you deeply.

Know your family is in our hearts and prayers are being lifted across this country for strength and extending our deepest sympathies at this time of sorrow. Beloved Michael illuminated the world around him, everywhere he went. I am so fortunate to have shared in that joyous glow albeit briefly, with the twinkle in his eyes and especially that beautiful smile, one moment in time. May God continue to bless and keep you.
