Dear Helga & Family,
Please know how saddened Bob and I were to learn of Mike's passing from our children. We adored having the Schmidt Family as neighbors in King City and learned to admire and respect Mike for his abilities and humility. He will be missed.

Our family has only just learned of Mike's passing, so with my parents traveling, I am passing on our condolences from the entire Moorhead family.
We grew up living next to the Schmidt’s in King City and have nothing but fond and positive memories from Mike, Helga and the entire Schmidt family.

We are most saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I met Mike in the late 1970's as a consultant to ABC. I worked for a number of years with Mike and his son Frank. After Frank passed away, we shared a unique bond in that we both were bereaved --having lost children.
Mile was a very unique and creative business man who listened to advice
but always used his own judgement in making final decisions.
He will be missed by many...

I have very fond memories of Mike asking how we were all keeping up and frequently giving solid advice on life, business and family matters. My thoughts and prayers go to Helga, Tim and Michelle at this most difficult of times.
I will never forget how kind Mike always was to my daughter Vicki, and how he always had a few minutes to spare in his busy days to stop and say hello. When I started at ABC my daughter was 3 months old, and even as she got older and we didn't see Mike as often at the plant I was working at, he always went out of his way to ask how she was. Mike always had a few minutes to make you feel that you mattered.
