Mildred Worden Obituary

WORDEN, Mildred Louise - (February 24, 1941 - August 28, 2011) It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Millie. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Donald Arthur Worden and mother of four children, Paul Bateman, Debbie (Neil) Hamilton, Diane Worden (Douglas Gordon) and Scott (Mindy) Worden. Grandmother of Preston, Grant, Eric, Craig, Jake, Kyle and Erika. Predeceased by brothers Robert and Donald Lang and sister Marion Woerl. Survived by sister Joan Biddlecombe and brother Terry Lang. Millie and Don enjoyed the last2 decades of their lives in Keswick on Lake Simcoe. On August 23, 2011 Millie moved to Unionville to start the next chapter of her life. Millie was very happy and excited to be living in this beautiful community. Visitation will be held at Central United Church, 131 Main Street, Unionville on Wednesday, September 7th, from 6:00-6:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:30 p.m. A celebration of Millie's life will follow from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at Unionville Co. Restaurant (upstairs), 175 Main Street. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society 416-967-3036. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home.
