Meeting Adam Koffler at The Four Seasons
not knowing his father, was a gracious experience. I recall it well as I was a family member and treated like a gem. I was Adams friend then. As a nurse in the server category i deeply care for the legacy of kindness shown to me by Adam.
A manager in training. i will pray for his family

The Fran Family would like to give our condolences to the family of Murray Koffler on his passing. Annie attended the same shul, Temple Emanuel for many years. Murray Koffler was an outstanding philanthropist for Israel and through his Shoppers Drug Mart stores, has brought a lot of needed medication and other products to be available to people for sale. Going to Temple Emanuel, Annie had the opportunity of being friends with Tiana Boynton-Koffler. Tiana and her sisters together with their mother Marvelle contributed greatly to Breast Cancer Research in the downtown Toronto Hospitals. We all appreciate the great efforts and good works that Murray Koffler and his Family have established in Toronto and elsewhere.
With Deep Sympathy and Condolences,
The Fran Family

My condolences to all the family. Al and I and Marvelle and Murray had a lot of fun in the 80s and 90s. Murray always had to leave our dinner parties early because he said, he had to go home and milk the cows, that they were in the barn with their legs crossed. I will always remember him saying that with a straight face. Kind, caring and full of love for humanity - the world will miss him.

Receiving the news of Murray's passing, was heartbreaking and I pass on our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Koffler family. Family was a word that Murray used often, and from the start of my career with Shoppers Drug Mart, family was the way we learned to work as a team, solve problems as a family and enjoy prosperity when it was earned. Murray too, forever stated that we were in business for ourselves, but not by ourselves. As my career unfolded from being a pharmacist, to becoming an Associate and finally joining the Central Office in Calgary, Murray never forgot my name and always encouraged me to live by the credo he is so well known for and will be his legacy forever. May he rest in peace!

I first met you Mr. & Mrs. Koffler in the early 60's when I was 14 years old.
I lived in the apartment building right across from your store on York Mills Rd. and I asked you for an after school and weekend job.
you hired me to clean shelves and stock them for an impressive 75 cents an hour. compared to the 50 cents an hour I made babysitting, I thought I hit the jackpot.
I grew to love you over the 6 years I worked for you as a second set of parents.
I have never and will never forget the love I felt back.
Rest well. You have more than earned it.

Dear family, There are only good memories when it comes to Murray Koffler and the wonderful Koffler family. He called me Yossel and always made me feel as part of his family.
