I work on the Pastoral Care team at Shepherd Village, and it was always a pleasure to visit with Myrtle. Even with advancing dementia, she was always so gracious and she loved to have prayer together. I remember when I last saw her in February, she was able to recite her beloved Psalm 23. She will be dearly missed by all of us at the Village.

Myrtle had so much joy and my memories of her involve her smiling or laughing. She and Stan created a family marked by love and hospitality. She will be missed. Much love to all those who loved her and were loved by her. ❤

I had promised Myrtle, my former neighbor ( 47) that we would reconnect for a coffee after Covid. She was just a most delightful individual. Myrtle and Stan were a matched pair of very happy people, even in the face of adversity. They were both such proud parents. When we last got together, she had photos of the kids ( the eldest ones, I had not seen since they were teenagers ). I miss them both.
