Nada BOZINOFF

BOZINOFF, Nada (Daisy) - 1927 - 2013 Passed away peacefully after a brief stay in hospital surrounded by her family, August 23, 2013. Predeceased by her loving father Simeon, mother Ordana, sister Margaret and cousin Luba. Nada is survived by her beloved sister Lillian and her husband Gershon Kingsley of New York. She will be lovingly remembered by her many cousins, nephews, nieces, caregivers and friends. To name a few: Cousins - Thomas, Peetie, Harry, Rosie, Vickie, Mary, Melitza and Alex. Nieces - Tana and Nada. Nephews - Harry John and Peter. Caregivers - Juanita, Mica, Rosa, Vinette, Michelle and special friend Lisa. Nada retired from the Toronto Star after a rewarding career of over 30 years. She lived her life with strength and love under such circumstances that would easily have bested the strongest of our species. Her graciousness and commanding presence, her strength of character and a directness that kept us on our toes - With That Look!!! - and behind it all, a gentle kindness that loved Pink. We will all miss her terribly! Family and friends are invited to call at the PINE HILLS CEMETERY AND VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd. (416-267-8229). Visitation on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service in the Pine Hills Chapel will be held at 11 a.m. Interment and reception to follow.
