NANCY ELIZABETH BODEN

BODEN, NANCY ELIZABETH (nee QUANCE) Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Nancy passed away, on Sunday, May 1, 2022, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of 66 years to Ross. Loving mother to Paul (Tina), Doug (Lynda) and Glenn (Sue). Devoted grandmother of Amanda (Kurtis), Kelsey (Kaity), Taylor (Curtis), Michael, Julia, Bronwyn, and Ainsley and much-loved great-grandmother to Lyla, Jaxon, Noah, Eric, Lucy, Avery and Jack. Nancy is survived by her sister Donna Quance and sister-in-law Shirley Denham (Gren). She was predeceased by her sister Marion McClure and her husband Peter and by her brother George and his wife Wendy. Nancy was a teacher in earlier years in St. Catherines, East York and Scarborough. Nancy and Ross were longtime members of St. John's United Church, Scarborough. Fond memories of many happy summers spent with family and friends at their beloved cottage on Lake Mazinaw. She is forever in our hearts, never to be forgotten. Friends will be welcomed by the family at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, on Thursday, May 5th, from 10 a.m. until the time of Service at 11 a.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Livestreaming of the funeral service will be available. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated. The family requests that masks be worn during the visitation and service.
