Peacefully on January 8, 2016 in her 93rd year, at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. Predeceased by Bronius. Loving mother of Vitalija (Bob), Zita (Ray) and Jonas. Dear grandmother to Alex (Mikyla), Lauren, Christine (Mike) and Janet (Greg). Adoring great-grandmother to Zoe, Chantel, Eric and Britt. Will be sadly missed by many other family members and friends, as well as relatives in Lithuania. Mama was a devoted all-around gardener, and loved to treat everyone to her wonderful Lithuanian cooking. You will be forever loved, Mama. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Wednesday from 6 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Lithuanian Martyrs Church (2185 Stavebank Rd., Mississauga) at 10 a.m. Interment at St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery. If desired, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.

Dear Vita and Bob
My deepest condolences on the passing of your mom (Vita), I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but with the beautiful memories Jan would share with me, it felt like I knew her..Losing a love one no matter how young or old is never easy...God Bless.
