NELSON (JERRY) BRODIC CROWDER Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Saturday, January 3, 2009. Jerry in his 75th year, beloved husband of Anne (nee Adamson). Anne and Jerry recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Dear father of Mary-anne and her husband, Tom Quinn, David and his wife, Andrea Petersen and Robert and his wife, Michele. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth, Katherine, Erin, Stephanie, James, Robert, Greg and Sam. Jerry had a successful 45 year career in the employee benefit consulting field. Long time Elder at TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. Active member of Don Mills Kiwanis Club and North York YMCA. Jerry enjoyed 20 years relaxing in Muskoka with his family and friends. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 6. A service will be conducted at TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 2737 Bayview Avenue on Wednesday at eleven o'clock. Donations may be made to the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Memorial Fund or to the Freeman Centre for Palliative Care, c/o North York General Hospital Foundation, 4001 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario, M2K 1E1. Jerry was a fine gentleman and was always ready to share his wonderful thoughts and ideas with us at the YMCA in the morning. I was saddened to hear of his illness last summer and I now want to express my condolences to his family.

He will be sadly missed and always remembered.
