DHAMA, Nesti - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nesti Dhama. Surrounded by love on September 7, 2010. Loving husband of Donna for 63 years. Cherished father of Athena (Martin), Peter (Carol) and Marina (Anthony). He will be greatly missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, September 10, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church (222 Burbank Drive). Interment to follow at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the The Holy Article Fund of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church (222 Burbank Drive, Toronto, M2K 1P8). Condolences www.rskane.ca

My daughter and I were former neighbours of Nesti's and Donna's on Norton Ave. beside the Shavers. My father and Nesti used to share soil and growing tips when working in their gardens. My father passed away this summer on July 31st from heart failure but he asked about Nesti's condition before he died. My mother and I send our deepest condolences to Donna and her family and we share in her grief.
