NICHOLAS JOSEPH 'NICK' TROISI Veteran WWII At the Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton on June 3, 2009. Nick Troisi age 83 years, husband of the late Helga 'Helen' (Poturnak) Troisi, loving father of Candice Scharmer (Phil Shaw), Leah and Andre Fidanza and the late Dean Troisi, dear grandfather of Shannon Nichols (Rick), great- grandfather of Aeron Nichols- McGuire and Mark Wright, brother of Amy Lenton, Annette O'Leary, and Rose Zimak. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nick served with the Royal Canadian Navy on Friggat Fighting Prince Rupert King 324. He was also a member of the Millwright Regional Council of Ontario Local 1007, Niagara and the Royal Canadian Legion of the (Fort William) Thunder Bay Branch. He enjoyed fishing, boating, league bowling, and music. He will be extremely missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.The family will honour Nick's life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
