Wow I was shocked when I heard the news. I am currently enrolled in the PM program at Ryerson and Nick was my instructor for one of my courses. It was a great pleasure learning under him. He was always full of life and very cheerfull. My condolences go out to his family as I can only imagine how much they will miss him. God bless his soul and may he rest in peace.

Nick, my first brother in law. I met you only a handful of times but I feel as though I've known you all along. You were an amazing husband, father, and brother in law. I will certianly miss you this Christmas and miss our walks with Franco after we eat too much on Christmas. You will always be remembered and remain in our hearts each and every day.

I was enrolled into Nick's PM class. He was an honest, straight up, helpful and a very respectable person. My deepest condolences goes to his family and friends. I will remember him as a great mentor and joyful person who was full of life.

Nick, I don't think I have thanked you enough for all the "Do your best, Kiddo!" pep talk you had given me along the way here at Hydro. You had offered me numerous opportunities to take part in the PM course you gave ...now I truly regret not enlisting myself for that course and spending bit more time with you. I can't think of an instance or run in with you that did not involve a hearty laughter. I will miss the reciprocal "Italian Salute" we gave each other in the hallways..you will be deeply missed. I met Nick some years ago for a short period while I worked for Hydro One. To my surprise, I just so happened to be enrolled in his class at Ryerson this semester. Was I ever surprised and excited when I read his Hydro One email and then realized why he looked so familiar. What was more shocking is how remembered me from only a month or so of interaction at work. Nick had a great sense of humour and we would often joke around before and/or after class and did so while waiting for students to arrive prior to our last class together.
There are no words to express the shock I feel.
Nick, you are a great Man with a great Soul!

Please accept my deepest sympathies to you Angie and the girls. Nick was my supervisor and friend at Hydro One, we always shared thoughts and concerns for work and his family that he cherished so much. Nick was a man of great compassion, patience and understanding for others and ahead of his time in many ways. He will be dearly missed. God bless and rest in peace Nick.

My deepest sympathy to the Bada Family, I had the pleasure of working closely with Nick for several years through his relationship with Kepner-Tregoe. He truly had a passion for life that was contagious. I considered him to be more than a client but a friend.
He always spoke very highly of his family and my prayers go out to them. He will be greatly missed.

I was a student in Nick's class and he was the greatest influence I had in choosing my career path. He taught with enthusiasm, practicality and encouragement. Through our interactions it was evident of what a kind, wonderful person he was and how much he will be missed.

I still have and listen to Celentano’s CD you and Angie made for me to make my time in home confinement easier. My deepest sympathy to the Bada Family, I had the pleasure of working closely with Nick on the committee for the Toronto International ACI convention several years ago and the enthusiasm he brought to this group ensured its record breaking success for Toronto. His contagious passion for having fun while making things work, at work, has left a lasting mark on all us who had the pleasure of associating with Nick.

My deepest sympathies to Nick's family. I have many fond memories of our time working together on the ACI Covention in 2000. He talked often of his family and loved them dearly. Nick, I've known you my entire career at Hydro One and can't imagine the place without you. I will miss your energy, your humour, and your endless enthusiam. You brought so much passion to everything you did. You were a kind, compassionate person, and always tried your best to be helpful and upbeat. He talked so often about his wife and his kids during class and I could tell that was the joy of his life. On behalf of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering Board of Directors and Nick's many other CSCE colleagues, I would like to express our deepest sympathies to his family and closest friends. Nick was a long time member of CSCE and was recently serving as Chair to its Membership Committee. Many of us got to know Nick better and particularly his infectuous enthusiasm at a recent workshop in Toronto. We will indeed miss him. May he rest in peace.

I will miss you and know that you are with GOD and hopfully providing him with the love and jokes you have shared with us over the years. I will miss you dearly my friend. Nick was for very short time my supervisor in Hydro One, but has remain a friend and confident I could always share my thoughts, problems and concerns but more than anything good joke. Just on Saturday evening while watching a movie about Italian Pizza man I was thinking about asking Nick if he has seen the movie, so we could laugh together; not knowing that Nick is not with us anymore.

I started at Hydro One ten years ago working directly for Nick and have had the pleasure of working with him on and off since he moved on to bigger things. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend his PM course at Nottawassaga just two months ago, and got to enjoy and share in his love of life and people, once again. I will hold on to those memories of Nick as that is how I always remembered him, full of life,love and laughter. I will miss him a lot, and Hydro One has lost one of their leaders. Nick was like a big brother, mentor and someone I really looked up to since my first days at Hydro. Always happy and willing to help and a personality like no other.
