HOLMES, NORMAN JOSEPH After a wonderful and joyous life filled with loving and giving, the family of Norman Holmes announce his peaceful passing from this earth on June 13, 2022, in his 87th year. Loving and caring father of Craig and his wife Jennifer, proud grandpa of Kaitlyn and Cameron. Brother of Gordon Holmes and Uncle to Michael Holmes. Predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Bernice. Norm will be fondly remembered by all that knew him, from his lifelong bothers in firefighting and Freemasonary, to his friends and neighbors in the city and at the cottage. Norm was a mentor, teacher, volunteer, friend, husband, father and grandfather throughout his life. "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." As per Norm's wishes, there will be no funeral. Private family burial.
