OCKRANT, Norman - On July 24, 2009. Beloved husband of Joyce. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Bernie (Sylvia), Steve (Roslyn), Lea, Raymond, Barbie (Alon), Cheryl, Susan (David), Andrew (Debra), Alison (Ian) and Phillip (Michaela). Dear step-father of Nick. Cherished grandfather of 26 grandchildren. Proud great-grandfather of 8. Survived by his sister Audrey. He will be sadly missed by all his nephews, nieces, family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill. Interment to follow at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, Community 5 section. Shiva at 68 Parktree Dr. Maple. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 905-770-1144 or 1-888-939-3333.
