Ona Gataveckas

ONA GATAVECKAS Born November 6, 1919 in Lithuania. Died March 25, 2012 in Toronto. Beloved wife of Juozas for 70 years. Loving mother of Regina (Saul) Lisauskas, Joanna Lindsay, Joe (Kris) Gataveckas and Daiva (the late Gint) Berius. Proud grandmother of Gita (Edward), Tadas (Laura), Michael and Livia and great-grandmother of Tomas, Eva, Lukas and Simas. Ona will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane subway, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Evening prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Rd., Toronto, on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery.
