AMMATURO, PASQUALE "LINO" February 26, 1940 - May 23, 2023 It is with great sadness to share with you that Pasquale "Lino" Ammaturo passed away, on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Beloved husband to Marie (née Battaglia) for 59 years. Dear father to Donna (Nazzareno), Joe (Tina), Robert (Lucia) and Tina (Robert); and loving Nonno to Federico, Enrica, Julia, Felicia, Valerio, Luca, Elisa, Stefano, Anthony and Alexander. A special thank you to all of his caregivers who worked together as a team, and whom Dad loved like family. Lino immigrated to Toronto in 1962 from Italy and married the love of his life, Marie, in 1964. Together, they created a beautiful family, a successful business: Woodhill Garden Centre, and lived a good life by travelling, celebrating and working. We want to remember Lino as the patriarch of our family. Dad, we will honour you every day of our lives by continuing your legacy. We will miss you dearly and you will always be in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd. East (south of Hwy. 407 at Bayview Ave.), on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial in the Chapel of St. Joseph at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023.
