PATRICIA STOCKER Obituary
PATRICIA ANN STOCKER (nee HOURIGAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, sister and grandmother, Pat, in the early morning of the eleventh of May, 2014, at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, with her loving family at her side. Mother of Alison (Jonathan) Hickman and their children Caroline and Cameron, St. John's, NL, Johnathan Holubik (Rebecca Merkley) and their children Gage, Evan and Cayden, Etobicoke, ON. She will be dearly missed by her brother Michael (Barbara) Hourigan, Port Dover, ON and her nephews William Hourigan, Toronto, ON, Russell (Colleen) Hourigan and their children August and Felix, Toronto, ON. Predeceased by her father Claude Michael Hourigan, November 1977 and her mother Drucilla Mary Hourigan, July 1982. Pat's career with Air Canada stretched over thirty- seven years with retirement as an In Charge occurring December 2003. She spent years working as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed golfing and in particular sailing. She was a member of the National Yacht Club of Toronto. Pat had a great interest in the fine arts, literature and theatre and enjoyed lectures given on cutting edge health technology at the University of Toronto. She travelled extensively, visiting every continent, but the great love of her life was visiting with her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at the National Yacht Club, 1 Stadium Rd,. Toronto, ON M5V 3H4, on Monday the 23rd of June, 2014 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. If so inclined, donations can be made in Pat's name to Greatest Needs, Woman's College Hospital Foundation, 76 Grenville St., Toronto, ON M5S 1B2.
