1929 - 2019

WILLETT, PATRICIA (PAT) WINNIFRED 1929-2019 In her 90th year, at Brampton Civic Hospital. Will be lovingly remembered and missed by her partner Bruce and daughter Beverley (Michael). Proud grandmother of Evan (Anna) and Christopher (Sarah). Great-grandmother of Aria, Lily, Alice and Maggie. She will also be missed by Bruces' children Janet (Dan) and Burnel (Bev). Pat and Bruce spent many happy years in Huntsville, Ontario and winters in Florida, as well as many road trips in the United States. She retired in the early 1970's, after a very successful career in the radio broadcasting business as a producer and radio programmer. She worked at stations CKTB in St. Catherines and CBC, CKEY and CHFI in Toronto. She loved her job and was one of the first female programmers in Toronto. Many thanks to all the staff at Amica Peel Village and the RESU unit at Brampton Civic Hospital, who saw to her comfort. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Toronto, on Saturday, August 10th, at 10 a.m.
