So sorry to hear the sad news of Paddy from his old friends in Belfast . The Small family and Kieran Ward family especially. The great nights we all had together in the Astor ballroom and the banter Paddy gave to wee Gerry ( no ticket no tote) I can't thank Paddy enough for giving me the chance to MC and after that as Paddy said the world your oyster , and it worked . I volunteer at the Stronach Cancer Centre. Patrick was known and well liked by virtually every staff member at the Centre. Such a great conversationalist. He will be missed.

I was heart-broken to hear the news. Hardly a day goes by that I do not think of one of Paddy's jokes and laugh. We had not seen each other in far too long. various plans to meet in Toronto just didn't work and I always thought I'd have more time to visit and catch up. So much love to Dierdre and the family. God bless Paddy for his extraordinary gifts and open heart.

Paddy blazed the trail for Loblaw's environmental sustainability programs and I had to the good fortune of working alongside him for a brief time. His legacy of care for the environment lives on.

I've just heard about dear Paddy. I always had great affection, admiration and respect for Paddy, he was a most lovely person and a honour to know. I'm thinking of all the years Warner and I enjoyed his company, help and insight with so many of our shared interests. Your sorrow is great I know, and shared by all the people he touched.
