PATRICK A. PERSAUD Proudly served in The Guyana Defence Force and retired after a 28-year career as a Court Officer with Toronto Police Services. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in his 79th year. Patrick, beloved husband to Patsy. Dear father to Rubina, Indera and her husband Barry Bridgemohan Singh, Subrena and her husband Hans Casperz and Ramesh. Gramps will be sadly missed by Kristina, Tyler, Patrick, Alexandria, Mya and Marcus and great-grandfather to Aaliyah. Dear brother to Robert, the late Rickford, the late Agnes and the late Elaine. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Road (at Highway 27 and Albion Road), on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at the Glendale Funeral Home on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 9 a.m. until cremation at 11:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

I worked with Pat at 22 division. I remember I got into fight arresting a male and Pat came to the rescue to help out. He was a credit to the Toronto police and I always enjoyed talking with him a good man.
