PATSY ALICE BEULAH MORRIS It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Sunday, September 25, 2011. She passed away as she desired - with dignity and grace at home in the presence of those who loved her, after a 5 year-long battle with cancer. She will be sorely missed by all those she touched. Mum leaves behind her children, Michael and Lisa, as well as her daughter in spirit Simone and her partner Robert, Our family would like to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to Dr. Burke and his wonderful staff at Mount Sinai. In addition, we would also like to express our gratitude to Dr. Kelly and the exceptional nurses Lauren Hoefel, Jennifer Coelho and Kevin Lazaro from St. Elizabeth Health Care, as well as all the support staff from CCAC who provided us with compassion and care. The family is asking, in lieu of sending flowers, that a donation be made to Heart House Hospice so that they may continue their mission of supporting those facing terminal illnesses to stay at home while embarking on their end-of-life journey. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 30th from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 1st from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will commence at 11 a.m. at the Scott Funeral Home at 1273 Weston Road, Toronto, Ontario.
