Paul Higgins Obituary

HIGGINS, Paul George - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on January 21, 2012 in his 71st year. Paul will be fondly missed by his daughters Kelly and Maureen (Kevin). He will always be cherished by his partner Jo-Anne. Paul will be strongly remembered for his contributions to education as a teacher with the North York School Board, as a Ministry of Ontario Education Officer, and as a York Region School Board trustee. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice Simcoe and the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

I remember Paul, on trumpet and his dad on trombone when I joined the Royal Regiment of Canada Band in 1959 - both fine musicians and fine gentlemen. My sincere condolences on Paul's passing.

Paul was my Associate Teacher at AY Jackson when I was at FEUT many moons ago. We worked together over the years on a number of projects. I have many fond memories. May you find strength in your memories of Paul.
