Paul Sneath Obituary

SNEATH, Paul Edwards - It is with deep sorrow that Paul's family announces his sudden death from a heart attack in Toronto, on Sunday, March 27, 2011. Loving life partner of Ritva Aalto, loving father of Daryl (Tara) and Stacy (Justin), proud grandfather of Ethan and Penelope Sneath, and Carys and Brynn Kouba, devoted son of Vi and Ted, dear brother of Martin (Anna), loving uncle of Cynthia (Steve) and Paula. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and his wide circle of friends. Paul possessed a keen sense of humour, a love of a good pun, and a love of sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Argonauts. A private family service will be followed by a celebration of Paul's life. Martin, I am very sorry to hear about Paul’s sudden passing. I remember Paul as a teenager, so full of life with a great smile and infectious laugh. He and my brother Don were good friends and inseparable for a few summers. He was considered one of the family in our house. Our paths crossed again later when we both worked at 33 Yonge Street in the late 80’s. I used to see him on occasion then and chat about life, old friends and fun summer times. I am so sorry that you, Stacy and Daryl, and his family and friends have lost him so young. Let your memories of Paul comfort you in your time of grief.

Daryl, Stacy
Words just don't seem to possess the necessary strength or convey true feelings at a time like this.
The loss of a loved one, so suddenly, just reminds us of how truely gifted we are to have people like Paul touch our lives.
He opened his home to me and the guys on my wedding day and I will always be grateful for his generosity. It just reflects the type of person he was.

Ritva - my prayers, love and thoughts are with you now and always. Paul was very special and always having time to have chats with me about places he had visited (and wanted to), suggested wines for me to try and I did to him. I have a great sadness in my heart and will miss his presence in our office - my faith gives me great strength and I pray that you will experience the peace of where he is right now. One day you will be together again and the Chardonnays and Sauvignons will flow for both of you again.
Blessings, love and hugs
