VOLPE, Paul - WWII Veteran Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on August 13, 2014 in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine. Dear father of Margaret (David), Marianne (Ray) and Carol. Proud grandfather of Emilee. Always remembered by sister-in-law Bernice. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie on Wednesday, August 20th from 11 a.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice. Margaret,Marianne and Carol,
I am very sorry to hear your Dad passed away, but he obviously lived a long life. He had me beat by 10 years.
I remember Paul, Danny, and my brother Tony being together a great deal, when "Uncle Paul "lived on Pape Ave some 60 years ago. The picture of your Dad in his Army uniform brings back a lot of memories.
I am sorry I will not be able to come to his funeral as I have another commitment that day.
