McBRIDE, Penelope Anne (nee Crosby) "Penny" - Passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She will be deeply missed and cherished by her daughter, Lara Shilanne Crosby McBride. Penny is fondly remembered by her son-in-law, Christopher Preble. Loving and fun "Nana" will always be treasured by her young granddaughter, Shaylen Skye McBride Preble. Wife of the late Robert Bruce McBride. Loving daughter of the late John Wright Crosby and Irene Crosby. Sister of the late Sandra Ayoub (nee Crosby) and Richard Ayoub. Aunt to Natasha and Andrew Ayoub. Penny is fondly remembered by many family and friends for her kindness, sense of humour, love of animals, quick wit and strength. May she be at peace. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2014. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations can be made to the ALS Society of Canada or The Toronto Humane Society.
