Oh my. I just heard of Pete's passing today. I now live in Portland, Oregon but grew up in Port Credit. when I was about 13 my girlfriends and I used to hang out at the lake. I met Pete there and fell head over heals. I remember riding on the back of his Harley whizzing down the Queen Elizabeth and thinking I'd gone to heaven. Looking back on it, he must have been a lot older than me but he was always a real gentleman. I'm not sure why we "broke up" but I remember him with great fondness and respect. After 65+ years, word of his death brought tears to my eyes.

I deeply apologise for being late to the party. I just found out about Pete's passing as I couldn't reach him. I would call him to see how he was and if he wanted to meet up for a coffee. Johnny's death effected Pete profoundly. I worked with Pete in North York for 15 yrs where we became friends.Pete's death is quite a shock,as he never mentioned that he was sick. Now Pete and Johnny are together again riding free. Condolences to the Edge family. God speed Peter.

My friend and brother in the Black Diamond Riders. So sad to see you gone and even sadder that I was not available to see you off on your new journey. You and I were as close as any one I have known and you will be missed and remembered fondly by me and Coral. Thank you for your friendship and love over the years. Jack & Coral Lafleur

Known Pete since 1956. Watched him grow through life. Rode with him, traded bikes, had fun, and will miss him. Always devoted to the Club and supported it's life style to the utmost.
