Peter Beswick Obituary
March 26, 1922 - May 3, 2016
Passed away peacefully at Shepherd Lodge with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Hastings), his wife of 56 years. Loving father of David and Ian (Erica). Predeceased by sister Norah. Peter served with the R.A.F. during the Second World War before earning his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Carleton University. He had a long and distinguished career with the Ontario Civil Service. Fondly remembered by his friends and family in both Canada and England. Visitation to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt with a Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3526 Sheppard Avenue East, at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Christ the King Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Peter's memory would be appreciated.
