Peter BROUGHTON Obituary
BROUGHTON, (Austin) Peter On July 29, 2017, (Austin) Peter Broughton passed away in his 78th year. Peter was born in Weston on February 4, 1939 and then lived in North Toronto. He was a dedicated husband to Airi Broughton; great brother to siblings Ted, Mary and Ann; loving father to Jaana, Krista and Teri and their husbands Warren, Bayne and Brady; and wonderful grandfather to Alex, Elina, Madeleine, Miika, Danica and Grant. Peter had a full life and will be remembered as a kind hearted, family man who lived with a spirit of adventure. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at Fairlawn Avenue United Church, 28 Fairlawn Avenue, Toronto, on August 8th at 2 p.m. with a reception at 3 p.m. to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome at Sprint Senior Care in Toronto (sprintseniorcare.org) or the Alzheimer Society. (alzheimer.ca)

Bob and I were saddened to read of Peter's passing. Alheizmer's is a horrible disease. We have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Airi: My sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of Peter. To me, "Cousin Peter" was a delightful, gentle, quiet soul who dearly loved his family, the outdoors and life.
