PETER DeMACIO Passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Florence for 22 years. Loving father of Sam (Lisa), Sharon Davidson (John), Leonard Olynyk (Cindy) and Lorri Pountney (Kerry). Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Gregory, Heather, Michael, David (Krista), Nicholas, Ryan (Renee), Karleigh, Lauren and Christine. Proud great- grandfather of Chloe. Beloved uncle to Joan (Paul), Francis "Bunny" (Enzo) and Janice. Predeceased by his siblings Anthony, Angeline and Sam. He will be dearly missed by his friends and extended family. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Curnew and the exceptional nurses and staff at Hamilton General Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for Peter at 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
