This is a man that you will never forget. He had a calming effect on everyone which perhaps made him so perfect for the job he did. He was persistent yet gentle and always fun to be around. He had intuition and always knew how to handle situations with tact. To his family, I know you will miss him deeply, however cherish the moments spent with such a man, and anticipate the life hereafter for many more to come. Dear Jacquie, Jamey, Stephen, and Mary Elizabeth, we are very saddened to hear about Peter. Although it has been a few years since we have seen your family, I have kept up with your activities through Karen. Peter was a wonderful person and I cannot imagine how great the loss is for you. We will always cherish the time we spent with you, especially on our 1996 camping trip to Allegany - great memories. Take Care.

Peter was one of those people that I hardly knew but who had a profound impact in introducing our family to the Daybreak community where my sister has lived for the past 35 years. No one taught me more about treating every person with respect, dignity and love. I hope someday I can actually think and do consistently what Peter seemed to do by his very nature.

I am so sorry to hear of Peters passing.
He was such a giving person and was always trying to help others.
My deepest condolences to his family.
I worked with Peter in trying to help Hasit Khagram in Welland and he was a huge help in freeing Hasit and giving him a chance to live free!

I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I remember him from earlier times, when we young parents together. I admired his devotion and faithfulness to his family. He taught me a lot. A wonderful man indeed. I known he will be deeply missed.

The privilege of knowing Peter enhanced and inspired hundreds of lives . He was totally self-effacing and tireless in his quest for the best that humanity is capable of.
