Peter’s passing has left a great void in our lives. He blessed us with many great memories that I cherish dearly. Peter was a good friend - the one I would have never wanted to lose. Our hearts ache for Peter’s children, his wife, parents and loved ones.

Peter was a friend and colleague that I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with for much of the last ten years. He was foremost a kind and caring person with a gentle personality; a consummate professional, who respected everyone he met. He was one of the few individuals that I can say I was truly privileged to have known, and I will truly miss him.

Being one of the last persons working with Peter, I was shocked to know that we have lost him. He was a knowledgeable engineer as well as a nice person with a great personality to work with. His calm and quiet voice will be always remembered. He will be certainly missed here.

Peter was a wonderful person and such a pleasure to work with at Kinetics. It is a terrible thing when a life is cut short so suddenly and I can only hope that Peter's wife and boys are able to find comfort in the love and memories that you will always share. It is difficult to bear how so sudden you may lose a friend. Peter was gentle, friendly, knowledgeable, sharing and unique in his attitude that from first instant I admired and respected.

I got a shock getting the sad news and I don't have any word to express my feeling. I have worked with Peter Firsov at Bantrel for Reliance Project. Peter was an exceptional individual who was always keen and kind to help me , support me in the Reliance Project.

Words cannot express my deep sorrow for this tragedy.
It is a great loss for everybody specially his family....the wife, kids, parents and his brother...
Peter was not only a talented, hardworking, dedicated and great engineer, but also a great person. He was always very polite and friendly. His professionalism and attitude towards the work were excellent. A role model for everyone in our team. He was outstanding.
I am sure Peter is resting in peace and his soul is in heaven now.
May God gives patience and strength to Firsov's family to go through this difficult time.

I will never forget his professional, kind and sharing. It was great to work with him. Still remember in the morning, small chat in the kitchen. It seems just happened yesterday. His smile is in my mind forever. God bless his family to go through this hard time.

I worked with Peter at Hydrogenics. I always admired him for his dedication, upbeat attitude, and good nature. He was defintiely a positive influence and simply put a good person to be around. He will be missed by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

My words, although inadequate, can only reflect my own deepest sorrow for Peter to be with us right now hoping upon hope that all of this is only a very bad dream.
Peter was more than a colleague, a great friend, he had an easy way with any people with a big smile. We were able to continue building a good friendship sharing moments from our lives, daily. I will miss him greatly.

I was deeply saddened today when I read an email from ex-Bantrel co-worker that Peter had passed away. In this moment I am thinking about Peter’s family and like express my heartfelt sympathy to them.
I worked with Peter for three years in Bantrel, Toronto office and got a chance to know him very closely. He was a talent engineer, dedicated and sincere in his duties. He was always nice with others, warm, and ready to lend his hand to solve problems. I feel fortunate and proud to have him in my team at Suncor Voyageur Project. Almighty God gives peace and rest to Peter’s Soul.
